Sunday morning a cold front had blown in and the temperature dropped into the 60s. In the morning we all went to Church. In the afternoon, I took a nap with Ryan (by this time he really needed one and I was still fighting the cold/flu that I had picked-up) and Lori took Brett and Jared to the Beach with
Andersons. It was too cold to get wet, but the beach is still a fun place even when it is cold.

The previous day Jared struggled to get his kite in the air so in the evening we did some research and
discovered that his kite was missing a piece. We searched the hotel room and were able to find the missing piece and so on Sunday Jared was able to get his new kite to fly.
Anderson's dog, Sandy, really liked playing at the beach. He was funny to watch when he chased the birds. This is Sarah with Sandy.

Brett, Sarah and Jared could not resist getting their feet wet even though it was cold. Some brave souls did venture into the water and there were a few surfers with wet suits.

When Ryan woke-up from his nap, we joined everyone else on the beach. In a very short time, Ryan had started to bury himself in the sand.
The kids made an attempt at digging a tunnel, but they were not able to get all the way through. They did dig some large holes in the sand.
