My parents attended a David Sorensen (my great-grandfather) family reunion and found out that one of my dad's cousin's sons was in the MTC and was going to the Houston-South mission, which just happens to be the mission we live in. It is a large mission so I did not think there would be much of a chance that our paths would ever cross, but it turns out I was wrong. Elder Peter Hoyt from Orderville, UT was assigned to serve in the Richmond Ward, which attends in the same building as our ward does. His first Sunday in Texas I was able to meet him and make arrangements for him to come to our house for dinner.

Elder Hoyt is a very good piano player and he played a little for us. We were hoping it would inspire our boys to want to play the piano but it did not work.
