Beach with Andersons

The Andersons came to visit us from San Antonio and had the honors of being our first house guests in our new house. We took them to the beach as one of our activities and had a great time. One of the downsides though was we forgot to bring the battery for the camera. We got the nice camera with the high resolution, but the battery was left at home in the charger. Our camcorder will take low resolution digital pictures so it was not a complete loss, but the picture quality for this blog is reduced. Andersons remembered their camera though so we do have a few high quality pictures.

Sarah and Brett heading out to try and catch some waves. The waves were not as big as they were the last trip so catching one on the boogie board was more difficult.

Everyone headed out to ride the waves. The last trip to the beach Ryan got sunburned, especially around his eyes, so we were taking extra precautions this time, hence the hat and sunglasses out in the water.

It is getting a little crowded around Lori as they go out into deeper water. The waves are bigger, but the kids like to be able to touch the bottom.

Ryan got so tired he fell asleep on my lap for over an hour. My legs were asleep by the time he woke up.

It was then time for me to go to work digging a big hole so I can bury the kids in the sand. I really need to bring a bigger shovel because that is a ton of work for me.
