Swimming with Richardsons

Some friends from our ward, the Richardsons, invited us over to their house to swim and have a barbecue. We had a great time. Below are some pictures from that event.

This is Ryan. Normally he has done very well in swimming pools and is careful. He has also been learning to swim. On this trip as we were bragging about him he stepped off the step into the deep end and scared everyone. It serves us right for bragging on him. After that we put the life jacket on him. He likes to get on my back and we swim together to the bottom of the pool and the life jacket made that difficult, but after stepping off the steps first thing having him wear it gave us all piece of mind.

The Richardson's extended the celebration of Lori's birthday (or as we celebrate, her birth-month) with a birthday cake. That was very kind of them.
